Summer Taxes

Summer taxes are billed the first week in July and are due September 14^th. Interest charges apply after this date.

***Please note that if you reside within the Village of Sunfield you will receive two (2) tax bills in the summer; one due to the township and one to the village.

Winter Taxes

Winter taxes are billed the first week in December and are due February 14^th.

Click here to access current tax information available online. Residents may look up their taxes at no charge. A fee is required if looking up information on property not owned by the user.

Property Tax Due Dates

After February 14^th interest and penalty charges apply to all unpaid property taxes, summer and winter.

All taxes, summer and winter, are paid to the the township treasurer until 5:00pm on February 28^th. The township can not accept payment after this date and time. Postmarks are not accepted.

All taxes still due after February 28^th become delinquent and must be paid to the Eaton County Treasurer.
